For most of my adult working life I have worked as an Accountant, most recently for an international vegetable seed company at Airport Oaks, in Auckland.
In my early years I was a reasonably good short distance runner. I held the senior boys record for 400m at my local High School. I was also a keen rugby player and played representative rugby for Counties Manukau under-18s for two years. In my second year of age group representative rugby I was selected for the National Rugby Coaching School at Lincoln College in Canterbury.
These days I limit myself to a bit of kayaking and tramping. I have had a lifelong interest in health and nutrition and the part that these elements play in athletic performance and health in general. I have now, with the establishment of Gluten Free Store Ltd and the help of my wife, turned this interest into a full time vocation.
