Sicilian cuisine shows traces of all the cultures that have established themselves on the island over the last two thousand years. Although its food style is predominantly seen as based on Italian cuisine, Sicilian food also has Spanish, Greek and Arab influences. Lots of Italian food evolved from Sicily.
